List Feature Whitelist
The Whitelist helps you define which products in your feed have to be exported even if they are excluded from your export by a Blacklist, a box or a ROI Rule. It contains a list of words/terms and all products that contain one or more of these words will always be exported.
So the Whitelistoverpowers any other product-skipping rule in the platform.
The Default List (URL) will be updated during every import.
Please note: If you share the list on account level, the list will only be updated if an import is triggered in the original site where the list was created.
1. Creating a Whitelist with Default List (URL)
Click on the menu item Lists, then on Add a new list.

Select Default List (URL) as type from the dropdown list.
Enter a name for your list and click on Save.

In Sharing, choose between Site, Project, and Account:
Site: the normalization list is only available for this site
Project: the list is available in all sites within the project
Account: the list is available in all sites within the account

Under "Source", enter the Whitelist URL.
NOTE: Please enter the delimiter! And the Encoding if it is not UTF-8.
Username & password are optional.

Please note: the file should contain a heading (don't worry, this first row will be skipped)
Example of file:
ID | ----------- | 1234| 2345 | 3456|
Click on "Import" to import the file.
Rename / Delete a list
Click on " Delete this list " in the " Danger Area " to delete the list.

To rename the list, click on Rename .

2. Creating a Whitelist with Default List
Click on List, then on Add a new list.

Enter a name for your list and click on Save :

In the "Sharing" tab, choose the level for which you want the list to be visible. This can be a site, account, and private level.
Site: the Whitelist is only available for this site
Account: the list is available for all sites within the account
Private: other users can see the list and use it in Dataflow, but they cannot edit it

Under "Settings", fill in the terms that should appear in the attributes of the products that you want to keep in the export - for any channel.

Note: the Whitelist is not case sensitive, so you can use uppercase or lowercase. Also not exact match, but works only for full word.
But if it could be that a word is written in quotes, you have to put the word in quotes too.
Rename / Delete a list
The " Danger Area " tab is where you go if you want to delete the list.

To rename the list, click on Rename .

3. Using the Whitelist-box in Data Edit
When your list is completed, switch to Data Edit.
Then select the created list from the dropdown.

The Whitelist has the highest priority, meaning that if a product is excluded from the feed because of a rule in ROI Strategy, a box, or a Blacklist, it will still be exported.
In this screenshot you can see that product 1 is excluded from the feed because of a rule in the attribute "id". But as you can see in ***___whitelist_export***, product 1 and 2 are identified by the Whitelist and will therefore be exported regardless.

4. List Origin
It is important to keep in mind that a list originated from an URL will only be updated once the site it was originally added to is imported.
If a site is shared over Project or Account level, you will see the Origin whenever you view the list in a site that is not the source site.
Example:
List is based in site A
List is shared over Account level
User views list in site B, that is part of the Account
User will see the site ID of site A under Sharing as Origin
