Advanced Box Options (legacy document)

Each box has a a button that will let you duplicate the box and its settings.This comes in handy when you want to use the same box several times, but with slightly different settings.

To duplicate the box, simply click the wrench button in the top right corner and then the duplicate button in the top left corner of the box.

If you want to apply a box only to a selection of products in your feed, you can use segments that you created in the Data View.

To choose a segment for the box, simply click the wrench button in the top right corner and then the Segment button, which is the middle one of the three white buttons on the top left.

Sometimes you want to pause a box, for example in cases you want to check how your data looks without the box applied.

To pause the box, simply click the wrench button in the top right corner and then the pause button, which is the right one of the three white buttons on the top left. The button will change to a play button and the box will be tilted to the right, indicating that it has been paused.

Each box has a “Define Time Range” option to determine the exact time or weekday in which the box should be executed. To show and use this option click on the blue wrench button in the right top corner of each box.

A) In case you want to set the Box Scheduling according to date and time you can choose to set either a “Start” or an “End” date or both.

B) If your box should only be executed on certain days choose the weekdays as desired by clicking on the buttons for each day.

Your adjustments are automatically saved when entering values or choosing the days.

C) If your box should be executed on specific days at a specific time choose the "Execute on specific days" option.

You can add several days and a time for each of the days.Examples: - Every friday from 8 pm to 10 pm - Every monday from 7 am to 9 am
