Advanced box options - pause, delete, duplicate, schedule, and segment
Advanced box options, such as pause, delete, duplicate, schedule, and segment in Productsup.
There are a number of advanced options which you may want to use in order to maintain optimizations. These include:
Pausing boxes
Deleting boxes
Duplicating boxes
Scheduling boxes
Using segments in boxes
Navigating to the advanced options
To expand the advanced box options in order to select them:
Navigate to the Data View or Dataflow.
Edit a current box set up.
Click on the tool icon in the top right-hand corner of a box.
This expands the advanced options.

Pausing or deleting rules
You may need to pause or delete rules which you don’t want anymore.
Pausing a box
Navigate to the Data View or Dataflow.
Expand the advanced options for the relevant box.
Click on the pause icon.
Click save.
To play a box, repeat the above instructions and click on the play action in the third step.
Deleting a box
Navigate to the Data View or Dataflow.
Expand the advanced options for the relevant box.
Click on the red trash icon.
Click save.
Duplicating a box
You can duplicate a box and its settings, which is useful if you want to use the box several times in a column, but with slightly different settings.
Navigate to the Data View or Dataflow.
Expand the advanced options for the relevant box.
Click on the duplicate icon with the two boxes.
Click save.
Scheduling boxes to only run at certain times
You can schedule boxes so that they are only active at a certain time. This may be useful if you want to discount products on weekends only, for example.
Note
The timezone of the boxes is the same timezone as the site scheduling set in Data Sources.
All scheduled boxes are marked with a little clock icon.
Scheduling at a weekly interval
Navigate to the Data View or Dataflow.
Expand the advanced options for the relevant box.
Click on execute on specific days.
Click add date.
Pick a day of the week from the dropdown menu.
Select a start and end time.
Click the save button at the top of the toolbar.
You can add as many entries for days as desired, by repeating the above process.

Scheduling between two dates
Navigate to the Data View or Dataflow.
Expand the advanced options for the relevant box.
Click on execute between two dates.
Click add date.
Define a start and/or end date.
Click the save button at the top of the toolbar.

Note
If only a start date is defined, the box will be executed on all runs after the start date.
If only an end date is defined, the box will not be executed after the end date.
If a start and end date are defined, the box will be executed on all runs between and on those dates.
