Import your products from a shopping platform

Import your products from a shopping platform, such as eBay or Amazon in Productsup.

You can directly import your products from a shopping platform, such as eBay or Amazon. You can find data sources linking to shopping platforms when you add a data source and by selecting the Shopping Platform tab.

Productsup supports imported products from:

  • Amazon

  • Bhinneka

  • eBay

  • Elevenia

  • Gogobli

Importing your products from Amazon Marketplace

Note

Amazon limits the import to up to 100 products per brand. You can request products for multiple brands, however.

To import your products from Amazon Marketplace:

  1. Navigate to your site

  2. Navigate to data sources

  3. Click add data source

  4. Add the Amazon Product Advertising API data source

  5. Give your data source a specialized name (if desired)

    • This will replace the name of the data source option on the data sources overview page

  6. Click Continue

  7. Add your AWS API key, AWS API Secret Key, and your AWS Associate Tag

  8. Add the relevant country

  9. Enter search criteria under at least one of browse node, keywords, or brand

    • for the brand, you should brands comma-separated, without spaces: Apple, Samsung, Huawei, Oppo

  10. Add a filter on availability (if desired)

  11. Merchant ID is set to Amazon

  12. Select a condition from the drop-down list (if desired)

  13. Add a minimum price in cents (if desired)

  14. Add a maximum price in cents (if desired)

  15. Add sort criteria to inform Amazon how to filter your products if more than 100 are returned

    • Possible options are:

      • AvgCustomerReviews

      • Featured

      • NewestArrivals

      • Price:HighToLow

      • Price:LowToHigh

      • Relevance

  16. Click Save

Import your products from eBay

Note

eBay is very restrictive in using their API. If you have multiple categories, you should add a data source for each category.

To import your products from eBay:

  1. Navigate to your site

  2. Navigate to data sources

  3. Click add data source

  4. Add the eBay category import data source

  5. Give your data source a specialized name (if desired)

    • This will replace the name of the data source option on the data sources overview page

  6. Click Continue

  7. Select the environment in eBay from which you want to import

  8. Enter the appId and globalID, which can be found in your eBay account

  9. Enter the categoryId of the products you wish to import

  10. Click Save
