Use boxes to optimize your data in Data View

Optimize your product feed data in Data View using rule boxes in Productsup.

You can add optimization rules using boxes in Data View or Dataflow. Adding rule boxes lets you clean and optimize your data before you run a data export. Optimize using rule boxes in Data View to oversee your actual product data, compared to Dataflow.

Note

You can only add boxes on the intermediate stage in Data View. You can add boxes in both the intermediate and export stages in Dataflow. The reason is that the import stage contains the data source you provided, and you cannot change that data directly within the Productsup platform.

To gain more information on various boxes and for additional filtering options, you can use Large View.

  1. Go to Data View and select Intermediate to choose the stage where you wish to add a box.

  2. Go to the account or project level and select Bulk Option.

  6. Select the column(s) that you want to copy the rules from. Here you can see a brief overview of the boxes for each connection.

  7. In Target Sites, search for or select the target site(s) or target channels

  8. Select Execute. Execute removes all existing boxes on the connection and replaces them with your recently selected boxes.
