Use proxy servers to whitelist Productsup IPs

Use proxy servers to whitelist IPs and let Productsup access your product data in your data source systems.

Introduction

In some cases, you may need to whitelist Productsup IP addresses so the platform can access your product data in your data source systems.

Productsup typically uses a range of servers and IP addresses. However, you can limit downloads to run from one of several IP addresses, which can let you whitelist these IPs in your data source systems to provide Productsup with data download access. Productsup refers to this feature as Download Proxy.

Enable Download Proxy

  1. Go to Data Sources from your site's main menu and open the Settings tab.

  2. In the Proxy Settings section, toggle Use Download Proxy to Enabled to let Productsup send requests to your data source systems via our proxy servers.

Once you turn this option on, you can see the IP addresses of the Productsup proxy servers. You must whitelist all the following IP addresses for requests to download your data.

This is an IPv6 subnet used in case your server returns IPv6 records first.

Note

Productsup uses the same proxy IPs for exporting data to the configured destinations.
