Boxes - Analyze and Correct Value
1. Detect Brand
This box detects the brand in the chosen column and prepends/appends/assigns or removes it to another column.
Example: Brand is in the description, but not in the title
Title: "Sportswear PRE Montreal Racer Trainers" Description: "Nike PRE Montreal Racer Trainers grey upper material: leather and textile, internal material: textile, sole: high-quality synthetics, cover sole: textile Size: 30-36"
After using this box:
Title: "Nike Sportswear PRE Montreal Racer Trainers"
2. Detect Color
This box detects the color in the chosen column and prepends/appends/assigns or removes it to another column. You can choose the language of your color in the dropdown. In case you can not find the color you need, write a mail to our Support team.
Example: Color is in the description, but not in the title
Title:
"Red Nike Sportswear PRE Montreal Racer Trainers"
After using this box:
Color: "Red"
3. Filter GTINs
The GTINs filter function allows you to check your GTINs and to remove the invalid values.
This box detects and deletes incorrect values based on the calculation of checksum digit.
There are three options for advanced behavior:
Fill up to 14 digits: It adds one or more leading 0 until the value reaches 14 digits.
Trim leading zeroes: It does the opposite of Fill up to 14 digits and removes every 0 at the beginning.
Leave unchanged: It keeps the original value.
4. Fix and Decode Base64
This box is used to fix broken or encoded base64 tags.
5. HTML
For dealing with HTML in your product data we have three boxes that might be helpful.
5.1 Fix and Decode HTML
This box is used to fix broken or encoded HTML.
Example:
"Fuß", "Apple &, Banana"
After using this box:
"Fuß", "Apple & Banana"
5.2 Remove HTML Tags
This box is used to remove the HTML tags in your data.
Example:
<h4 class="text">Power Smoothie -Start the day with a smoothie.</h4><br/> 5 reasons to buy it:<ul class="text"> <li> Gluten free</li><li> Vitality</li><li> Iron and Calcium </li><li> 100% Bio </li><li> Brazilian fruits: Acai (29%), Grape (25%), Mango (18%), Banana (17%), Pineapple (11%) </li></ul><br/>

6. (White)Spaces
6.1 Remove Consecutive Whitespace
This box is used to remove consecutive whitespace between the words in one cell. It ensures that one whitespace remains so that words still remain separated.
Example:
"Taupage Sandals - silver - leather - Size 39"_
After using this box:
"Taupage Sandals - silver - leather - Size 39"
6.2 Remove Spaces At Beginning And End (Trim)
This box is used to remove whitespaces found at the beginning and/or end of the cell.
Example:
" Taupage Sandals - silver - leather - Size 39 "
After using this box:
"Taupage Sandals - silver - leather - Size 39"
7. Remove Terms in Brackets
This box is used to remove all terms in brackets.
Example:
"Nike Sportswear PRE Montreal Racer Trainers (Winter collection) Size 36 Women"
After using the box:
"Nike Sportswear PRE Montreal Racer Trainers Size 36 Women"
8. Separate Words
This box splits two words written together by adding a whitespace in between. But it only works if the second Part of the word starts with a capital letter.
Example: it will work for "brownShoes" but not for "brownshoes"
After using this box:
"brown Shoes"
9. Spellcheck
This box is used to check possible misspelling and show suggestion in brackets.
10. Translate Colors
This box translates colors from one language into another one. You can choose for both input fields between english, german, french, italian, spanish and dutch.
Example:
"Sandaletten - green - leder - Größe 39"
Example: Values in column product_type should be spellchecked
original value: "Indoorshoes" After using the box:"Indoorshoes(Indoor shoes)"
original value: "Hoodies" After using the box:"Hoodies(Goodies)"
original value: "Capri-Pants" After using the box:"Capri-Pants(Capricorns)"
The result will erase the previous value of the box.
After using this box:
"Sandaletten - grün - leder - Größe 39"
