Add comments in Dataflow or Data View
Add comments to attributes in Dataflow or Data View in Productsup.
You can add comments to attributes in Dataflow or Data View with the Comment rule box. This feature is helpful if you want to explain to colleagues how you set up a rule box or provide information about the attribute. When you add the Comment rule box in Dataflow or Data View, the rule box appears in both views.
Go to Dataflow or Data View from your site's main menu.
In Data View, choose the Intermediate level from the drop-down menu in the upper ribbon, and select Edit for your chosen attribute. In Dataflow, select your desired import channel from the drop-down menu in the upper ribbon, and choose your attribute.
Next, search for, and select the Comment rule box.
Enter a comment and select Save.
Once you have added a comment, a small comment bubble appears next to the attribute in Dataflow to illustrate that you left a comment.
