Use a new Amazon Product Pricing data service to stay at the top of the competition
A new Amazon Product Pricing data service is available in Productsup.
The new data service lets you track the following:
The Amazon pricing for your products to ensure that the resellers follow your pricing policy and don't sell below the minimum agreed price.
The competitor pricing on Amazon to stay relevant and increase your chances of winning the Buy Box.
The data service connects to the Amazon Pricing API and fetches the lowest price offered on the Amazon Marketplace for each SKU or ASIN, along with information about the seller, currency, and errors. Productsup adds this information into the additional columns at the import or intermediate stages in Dataflow and Data View. On the data service setup page, you can select a needed attribute type for IDs, marketplace, and product conditions. You can also set the time frames when you want the pricing to be updated.
See Import prices from Amazon with the Amazon Product Pricing data service for more information.
New data sources and export channels
Increased personal data protection with the update for Amazon Marketplace Orders data source
We updated our Amazon Marketplace Orders (SP-API) data source connector to fetch and import protected Personal Identifiable Information (PII) required for order fulfillment. To increase data protection, the platform fulfills the following:
Retains the order data featuring PII for 30 days.
Obscures the values in the buyer information, such as name and email, and shipping address attributes in Dataflow and Data View.
See Set up order sync for Amazon for more information.
A new certification attribute on Google Merchant Center
On June 15, 2023, Google introduced a new certification
attribute for product data on Google Merchant Center. The certification
attribute is used to describe certifications like energy efficiency ratings.
To comply with the updates and provide support of the certification
attribute, we updated our Google Merchant Center and Google Content API integrations for corresponding exports.
See 2023 Merchant Center product data specification update and Certification [certification] attribute to check if you need to add the new attribute to your data feed.
Availability attribute became mandatory on Google LIA
On June 15, 2023, Google made the availability
attribute mandatory and the quantity
attribute optional for local inventory ads.
We have already made the quantity
attribute optional for the Google Product Inventory Feed (LIA) export in the platform, but the availability
attribute remains optional till August 31, 2023, to give you time to adjust your data feeds. Starting from September 1, 2023, the availability
attribute also becomes mandatory.
See Add Google Product Inventory Feed (LIA) export for more information.
